Verdugo is The Electric West's haunting, but highly danceable follow-up to their 2012 demo, Dusty Trails. The energetic and eclectic vibe of the album is reminiscent of classics like Dead Kennedys, Gang of Four, and David Bowie, while stabbing at their own take on classic, post, and disco punk. With Los Angeles being over saturated with eager indie bands, Verdugo is one album that really stands out.
